Author Guidelines

Font and Paper Size

The font used in this scientific paper is Times New Roman, 12-point font (except for the title). The paper size is A4, with a top margin of 3 cm, a bottom margin of 2.5 cm, a left margin of 3 cm, and a right margin of 2 cm. The entire scientific paper is written using a one-column page layout.

Word Count and Page Count

The paper should be at least 12 pages long, with a word count of 5,000-7,000 words, covering the Abstract and Conclusions.

Citation Techniques

Citation is done using Chicago Manual of Style 17^th edition (full note) style.

Title of Paper

The title of the scientific work is written in capital letters for each word, centered, with a font size of 14 pt bold.

Author's Name, Affiliation, and Correspondence Address

The author's name, affiliation, and correspondence address should be written consecutively on three lines in 12-point font, centered. The author's name and correspondence address should be written in bold. The correspondence address should also be written in italics. If there is more than one author, the name of the second and subsequent authors should be listed on the line below.

Abstract

For Indonesian-language  papers, the abstract is written in both English and Indonesian. For English-language scientific papers, the abstract is written in English only. English abstracts are written in italics. They are single-spaced, in 12-point font, and should be 100-200 words long. The abstract should be as concise as possible, containing the research objectives, research methods used, and the findings and conclusions.

Keywords

Keywords are a list of words in the abstract that reflect the research, separated by semicolons (;).

Introduction

The introduction should be aligned to the right and left, using 1.5 spacing. The introduction should contain (in sequence) a general background, a review of previous literature (the state of the art) as the basis for stating the scientific novelty of the scientific work, a statement of scientific novelty, and the research problem or hypothesis. The purpose of the study should be stated at the end of the introduction. A literature review, as in a research report, is not permitted in the format of a scientific paper; instead, it should be presented in the form of a review of previous literature (the state of the art) to demonstrate the novelty of the scientific work.

Research Methods

Research methods should be written with 1.5 spacing, aligned to the right and left. The methods used to solve the problem include qualitative methods, quantitative methods, literature studies, and interpretation methods. The methods used to answer the research questions should be explained in detail, along with the stages of the research conducted.

Results and Discussion

The Results and Discussion section should be aligned to the right and left, using 1.5 spacing. The Results and Discussion section should contain the research findings and their discussion. List the findings obtained from the research conducted, which must be supported by adequate data. The research results and findings should answer the research questions or hypotheses in the introduction. Discuss the findings by comparing existing opinions, perspectives, or research findings, whether contradictory or consistent with the research findings presented above. If the Results and Discussion section requires subsections, the subheadings should be capitalized at the beginning of each word, except conjunctions, as shown below.

If there are research findings that you would like to describe or explain in detail.

Subsection of Results and Discussion

If there are specific points or details that need to be explained as part of the findings.

Conclusion

The conclusion is written aligned to the right and left with 1.5 spacing. The conclusion describes the answer to the hypothesis and/or research objectives, or the findings obtained. The conclusion does not contain a repetition of the results and discussion, but rather a summary of the findings as expected in the objectives or hypotheses. Recommendations present actions to be taken related to further ideas from the research. The conclusion is presented in one paragraph.

Recommendations (Optional)

Recommendations are written aligned with 1.5 spacing. Recommendations contain the author's implications and suggestions related to the research findings.

Bibliography / References

All references cited in a scientific work must be listed in the Bibliography section. The bibliography should contain references from primary sources (scientific journals, comprising at least 60% of the total bibliography) published within the last 10 (ten) years. Each scientific work should contain at least 10 (ten) references.

The bibliography should be written using the Mendeley reference management application. The format used in Transformasi: Jurnal Teologi dan Pemimpin (Transformation: Journal of Theology and Leadership) is in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style 17^th edition (full note) format. The bibliography is written in single space.
