Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak media sosial terhadap penyebaran Injil di kalangan generasi muda. Perkembangan teknologi informasi, khususnya media sosial, telah mengubah cara individu mengakses informasi dan membangun komunikasi, termasuk dalam ranah kehidupan keagamaan. Dengan karakteristik yang interaktif, cepat, dan luas jangkauannya, media sosial menjadi sarana potensial dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan keagamaan kepada audiens yang lebih luas, termasuk mereka yang tidak aktif dalam komunitas gereja tradisional. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research), penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana generasi muda menggunakan platform digital seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTube untuk mengakses, membagikan, dan merespons konten keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran signifikan dalam memperluas jangkauan penyebaran Injil, membentuk komunitas iman daring, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan spiritual generasi muda. Namun, tantangan juga muncul terkait validitas pesan, disinformasi, dan kedangkalan pemahaman teologis. Dengan demikian, diperlukan strategi digital yang bijak dan kontekstual agar media sosial dapat menjadi alat efektif dalam misi pemberitaan Injil di era digital.
